School, man. It was pretty overwhelming for a while. I constantly had studying to do, or reading, or paper-writing. I keep getting shitty marks back, though. I don't think I have another exam 'til finals roll around. Just papers to write until then. Which means I really, really need to get going on those four books D: lol.

I watched A Serbian Film over three days last week. Merely out of curiosity, I guess. The first half hour was mostly stupid and I'm pretty sure shit didn't start going down until like 46 minutes in. But, it's a really fucked up movie. I literally had my mouth open in shock during one scene, even though I had read the plot details, so I knew what was coming. I had to look away a few times. The story just gets progressively worse; not as in stupid, but sad/horrible/depressing/disgusting.

Things have been going pretty well for me, especially in regards to what I posted about last time in the f-locked entry :) I couldn't be happier about that. I really couldn't. School's been pretty good, my labs are good. I got a new coat and some clothes.

My friend and I met on Thursday after each of our classes finished and went out. We went to the mall, got some Chinese food, walked around. Then he drove me home and drove past my house, but we decided to go to Tim Hortons. Hung out for a bit there, then he took me home again and again drove past my house lol. He paid for my food and bought me a donut D: I fought him on it, but he wouldn't let me pay. When we were in the car, I got to listen to Serbian music lol. Idk man... wasn't too pleasant, but it's such an awesome sounding language.

Kagrra disbanding. Sad stuff that is. Sort of. Like, they were the first Jrock band I really got into and they put out really good music for quite some time, but I can't remember the last time I cared about anything they did. All their stuff started sounding really generic and same-y. Regardless, it sucks. They put out some really killer music however many years ago :(

I can't register for my classes still for next semester D: Shit went wrong and I had no idea until it was too late. Now, I'm just waiting for the money to go through or whatever. Christ.

I have to wear a name-tag at work now :S I don't want the people that come in to know my name :S

So... Ego Fall. Perfect, flawless, the other best thing in Chinese music, etc, etc. The new album is awesome. I'm digging 东归 the most right now, but really, every song is so good. Definitely more of a Mongolian influence on this disc. Morin khuur + khöömii + metal=♥. God, I love them. I'm so alone on the Dian Fu M last.fm page, though :(

Man, you know your life is sad when you relate to most things on Socially Awkward Penguin and Paranoid Parrot.

Family Guy and the Simpsons premiered Sunday night. The Simpsons wasn't bad, but I was expecting more for the 22nd season opener. I did laugh quite a bit, but once it was done, meh. Family Guy was great. It felt like watching a movie. It was an hour-long murder-mystery. So, not a typical Family Guy episode, but it was a great way to start off the season. I'm interested to see what's going to happen in the weeks to come. I've heard some pretty non-entertaining plot tidbits.

Yeah, this was mainly to talk about the new Ego Fall album lol.

Oh, I found the new worst word ever. Moist is absolutely terrible and I know a lot of people that can agree with me. Foodstuffs is worse. Foodstuffs. Food. Stuffs. And it's fucking everywhere. I've read it in like every damn textbook I have.

Oh my God. I'm going to punch a baby in the face. Firefox keeps crashing like every minute. Gaaahhhh.

I don't really understand people on arama's surprise/complaining when it comes to accents. Like Yoshiki speaking English, or Girls' Generation singing in Japanese. Accents: they're what happens when you try and speak another language :O omgnowai.

That reminds me. I was watching a show about Josef Mengele and this guy kept calling him the equivalent of Mengelé. Wha? How can you be so knowledgeable about someone and not pronounce their name right? It's not like a name he would have never heard spoken O_o

So, what's going on music-wise. Someone on ONTD mentioned this band called Insomnium and I am totally digging their Across the Dark album. Jolin Tsai's Myself album is really good. Loving Juli's new album. Found some good Cpop. All is good :)

And school is in full swing. I love 3 out of 5 classes. I'm guessing that's probably the best I'll ever do hahaha. My favourite so far is Islamic history. The prof is awesome and I'm genuinely interested and excited to go to class to learn more. Europe: Facing Islam and 20th Century history are the other two I love.

Canadian history D: Did that put anyone to sleep just reading it? Not only is the class boring, but the prof is the worst one I've ever had. Nothing she says seems important, it's all disjointed information and she'll say a few things about something and just move on. Thanks, lady. I am learning so much. And Italian Cinema (I was running out of course options). It sucks, but not as bad.

But, the university offers exchange to China *_* The only problem is that I'd pretty much have to go 4th year :/ Regardless, I am most definitely looking in to that.

I have to start writing a paper and the essay question I think I'm doing is: does modernization mean Westernization? Tough question. Like, I can see someone arguing it either way and being convincing.

Allergy season is here. FFFUUUUUU- I've had a Kleenex shoved up my nose most of this week :/

School has commenced. I had one of my Islamic history classes on Thursday and the prof seems really nice and it sounds like it will be interesting. I have the rest of my classes Monday and Tuesday, so I'm not sure what those are like yet.

I saw Slash and Billy Idol on Thursday 8D Fucking fantastic show. Billy Idol came on after Slash, so he seemed a little dull, but he sounded great and he looks exactly the same as he always has lol. So, I preferred Slash out of the two. He's so entertaining to watch and his band was great, too. I wasn't really expecting any Guns N' Roses songs, but they played Sweet Child o' Mine and Paradise City, as well as a couple Velvet Revolver tracks (Slither ♥). I didn't bring a camera because they were super-strict for Ringo, but everyone had theirs out. I might post some pics/vids if the ones from my phone turned out. That venue sucks for seeing concerts because pretty much everyone sits D: I couldn't do any rockin' lol.

I finally saw Inception. My sister and I went tonight. $9.99 for the ticket and $4.73 for a small bag of M&Ms. Jesus, no wonder people don't go to the movies anymore. Anyways, it was so good! Really, really good. And, it was like a movie of good-looking people. I want to see it again already lol.

Oh look, crappy German song translations 8D

Gah, I have nothing interesting to talk about :/ But, as soon as I hit the 'post to...' button, I'll think of something I wanted to say.

I just looked at my list of textbooks I need to buy. Sayonara, $500+. One class has 4 required books, another has 5. How can someone be expected to read that fucking much!? Either we shouldn't have to buy our own textbooks (since most of the time you don't need the entire thing), or more simply, just put it all in a damn lecture. That's what we pay tuition for, to be taught something. Not to go home and spend the night teaching yourself shit from a book. Ugh, things like this make me fucking hate university.

I hooked up our Xbox to my computer the other night. That's such a cool feature; it allows you to play videos and music and look at pictures stored on your PC and all you need to do is connect to the internet. So, instead of having to burn a DVD of a movie to watch on TV, you just connect your Xbox.

Oh, aramatheydidnt. That comm is always full of stupid, but in regard to a recent post: frankly, hairless men are scary. End of story.

I had a package delivered at 7:03pm tonight. Their site said they delivered until 7pm; guess they weren't lying lol. I ordered the DVD online because the one in-store at HMV was dented and dirty, but this one isn't really any better :/

UFO Hunters... What a show. Bill is such a hardcore believer in like, anything related to aliens. He constantly jumps to conclusions, and strings things together that really don't go and believes all these ridiculous stories from people. Like this woman in tonight's episode who said she saw aliens, they held her hand, led her into their ship and showed her images. Like, how the hell do you believe something like that? I can't say I doubt there's something else out there in space, but that story was crazy :/
