Only like four days ago I found out Robert Pattinson wasn't American. Yes. I had absolutely no idea.

I just took a disasterous quiz on Germany lol. I guess for a German the questions might be easy, but not being one, it was tricky. You can take it here if you feel up to it XD The China quiz was pretty interesting there, too. And I was taking the Simpsons quiz and found out that Ned is 60! :O I had NO idea.

I was ready to stab this asshole patron at work on Friday. Look what he did to the fucking DVDs. I was so stunned I had to take pictures (enlarge-able):


What the fuck is that!? They're supposed to be lined up horizontally from the left, not in fucking piles D: And believe me, they weren't in order. And, to make things better, as I was cleaning that up, another guy came and started looking at the DVDs and also messed them up (but not nearly as bad).

On Saturday, they caught (for the second time, apparently) a 14 year old looking at porn on the computers. Ah~ don't you just love the library?

I went to the mall Friday and bought Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster and Paul McCartney's Good Evening New York City 2CD/DVD. I spent over $20, so I also got the movie Chicago for $5 :) An hour of Paul's concert was on TV the other night and he was so good ♥~

I took this hilarious book out from work. I was initially just looking at it on my break, but I kept smiling and trying desperately to hold in my laughter, so I couldn't continue lol. It's a collection of stupid answers about world history from college papers and exams. One of my current favourites is: "Hitler, who had become depressed for some reason, crawled under Berlin. He had his wife Evita put to sleep and then shot himself in the bonker." lmao. It's full of hilarity. I also love, "...and other etceteras." lmao What?

I can't wait to do the Best of 2010 post XD Stuff like that always takes me forever 'cause I get so into it.

The Simpsons tonight; I laughed so hard when they hit the deer lol. One of my favourite Simpsons moments is the episode where Homer eats the peppers at the chili cook-off and then like trips out on the golf course. Then he halucinates and there's this tortoise that's supposed to take him somewhere, but it's going really slow, so he keeps pushing it until he gets fed up and boots it towards to horizon XD Maybe that's why I liked the deer part so much.

*sigh* One more paper and then no assignments or tests until finals 8D Thank God.

Yes, new Sa Ding Ding video! The song leaked a little bit before and I wasn't too big on it - it's a very different style for her. But, after seeing the video, it's grown on me. As far as the really new songs go, I still think Tang La Ya Xiu is better. There video can be viewed here. S'pretty snazzy. I can't wait for her next album ;_;

BX has a new video out, too. It's for 4 days, one of the better tracks from I Have a Dream. I want his clothes though lol. I want the outfit he wears in the Luivriin khot video, too lol. Kiwi put out a video for Superstitous. It's... interesting. And the new Tokyo Jihen is fantastic 8D On the other hand, the new alan album blows. Next entry, expect a lot of YT embeds lol.

When I went to buy the book on Khubilai Khan, the Chapters website said they had it. This book was an older book, but was being reprinted for November. I thought they just had the older one, but we went twice and couldn't find it. One day there was like no one in the store, so I had 5 employees helping me. Their guess was that someone just moved, 'cause they only had one copy. The one was like, "It's probably somewhere, I mean, how many people wanna read about Khubilai Khan?" I do :( And then another one asked me if Mongolia was still a country O_O It's not like they were teenagers, more like middle-aged. Anyways, the third time they ended up having it, but it was the new edition. They had it in the store before the release date.

Speaking of TV shows, I don't get all the new Simpsons hate :( I've never found it to be bad. Of course, not every episode has been awesome, but it's still really good. The episode that was on on Sunday killed me. "See, he hasn't changed." "Yes I have, in ways you're only beginning to suspect." And "Ooh, let me try! *rolls dice* Lick eyes. *rolls* Spank hair. *rolls* Whisper into... ass! Ohhh, this game sucks." LMAO

I got around to listening to AK-47's 2008 album and I actually enjoyed it. Their previous one had terrible production and generally was very unpleasing, but they've definitely improved. Chinese bands release albums too slowly D: It sucks when you get really into a band because of one album and knowing there's like another 3, 4 years before the next. I need some new stuff from the bands I like!

I can't wait for the winter Olympics just so I can stop seeing the fucking commercials for it. They've been showing them for probably over a year now. I'm not even joking. And I'm tired of athletes asking me if I believe! It just needs to stop. I think we're all aware Vancouver's getting the games by now.

I've been invited to go to Slovakia and Poland during my spring break. I don't know if I mentioned it, but friends of the family's daughter is teaching English in Slovakia and my parents said they asked me to come along when they go visit her. I wouldn't mind seeing Slovakia, but it's Poland I'd really like to go to and I could take lots of pics for my grandpa to show him what it's like there now. They're going to be going to Auschwitz :O That would be such an experience. My parents said they'd pay for my flight and really want me to go, but I dunno...

New Lady GaGa is fucking awesome. Well, the single's been out for a bit, but I've continually had it on repeat. Love the video, too. Well, not so much the beginning, but we can excuse that. I think I actually like Bad Romance more than anything off The Fame, and that album had some great tracks.

I'm still in Beatles-mode hahaha. They're just so good and entertaining. I have to listen to more solo work though. I love Paul McCartney (and McCartney & Wings), John Lennon's stuff is generally not to my taste, although he had some great songs, but I haven't check out George or Ringo yet. My sister and I are two very different fans. She loves John and hates Ringo; I love Paul and also love Ringo lol :P Even song-wise. I mean, there's those key Beatles tracks that like, everyone loves, but we do differ quite a bit in our taste.

This is really cool: Chinese music/rock awards. Miserable Faith won a lot of the categories, including album of the year. I absolutely love that album of theirs ♥ Helen won in the female singer category, which is also awesome. Not particularly fond of the other nominees. But, I object to AK-47 getting best metal performance. I've actually only heard their second album, but it generally wasn't too pleasant; meanwhile, Voodoo Kungfu are killer; I'd choose Ordnance over AK-47, too. Hell, even Suffocated are better. Dude from Honey Gun and Spring Autumn also won a category and both those bands are good, so that's nice.

Worked four hours today. Fridays are pretty painful. All day tomorrow and then a couple of my friends are getting together and we're gonna watch some scary movies. Hopefully it'll be fun.

I did some serious shopping tonight: a black sweater and a red sweater from Dynamite, grey pants, a pink tanktop and a grey/pink striped sweater from Garage, a book from Chapters, flats and sunglasses from Payless (they had a really good sale on) and some underwear. I spent too much money lol.

So, after a month and eight days of waiting, I finally have it!

For my Holocaust class, we had to watch this film called Nuit et Brouillard (Night and Fog) which was horribly depressing. Like, I honestly had to look away at certain points. It's only half an hour, so if you're interested in it, here it is with English subs. We were discussing it in class and it's pretty interesting. The title comes from the German term 'Nacht und Nebel' which is literally 'night and fog', but means to do something in secrecy and was a term (along with many others) adapted by the Nazis for the killing of the Jews. I'll stop before I ramble lol.

I'm on an Ayu kick right now. It's been a while, but I get nostalgic listening to her stuff. Memorial address came out in 2003! 2003! It doesn't feel like it was six years ago ;_; I started listening to her in 2002, so RAINBOW was the first album she released when I was a fan and I was like, so fucking excited for that omg. My interest started dwindling after MY STORY was released and I don't think she'll be able to restore my love for her an artist. Her songs and lyrics are crappy rehashes of what she's done before and her voice is pretty awful. Regardless, she still manages to put out a good track every once and a while.

New Superfly is really good. I actually like the PV a lot, too. Huun-Huur-Tu's new release is so damn good. The first three songs take you away to grassy steppes *_* They performed in Michigan, but last.fm didn't let me know until that day D: JASMINE's new single is good. No More sounds too much like sad to say, though. CLUBBIN' has some attitude lol. I don't think I ever talked about MiChi's album. T'was very good, indeed. And Lady GaGa's Bad Romance is also really good. But, the new Sa Ding Ding song owns all. My God, I can't wait for her next album.

I need to go through my icons and make some new ones. These are gettin' pretty old. I made a new sig for AHS. Just kept it simple: some colouring adjustments, smoothing and text. It's passable, I guess.


I only got 77% on my German exam D: Wft is that? I fucking hate that class. Had another exam today. It was better than I was expecting, but I really don't know. I might've just been writing to put stuff down :/
