My summer is almost over as I start back to school on Wednesday. I only have one class at 4:00 and then I work after that for 2 hours. Ugh, I don't want to go. Anyways, I'll probably post in a week-ish bitching about it all lol.

My mom made German Chocolate Cake today 8D Mmmmm, so good. I'm not a cake fan; the only kinds I eat are the Dairy Queen ice cream cake and ones you make out of a box. I hate the kind you buy in stores because of the disgusting icing, bleh.

I watched/finished watching some movies, so now I'm going to babble about 'em:

Oh, do any of you guys have a Goodreads account? Pretty cool site that lets you keep track of the books you've read, or are waiting to read, rate them and review them. Here is my page. I can't remember all the books I've read though lol.

I'm reading The Bloody White Baron right now and it's increasingly getting better, but I can't stop thinking about Wolf Totem, which I rambled about in my last post. That book moved me. I might even say it was the best fictional book I've read.

Wtf MUCC? I don't want your shitty compilations. They just put out two in 2007. The only thing I'd consider buying is the indie b-side disc, since I generally don't like their PVs. Ageha was cool, but that's it. And that world tour... If they go back to the US, you know it's only going to be NY and/or LA, because the rest of the country doesn't exist.

I watched Genghis Khan: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea again, finally. As such, I decided to revisit my previous thoughts on it and Mongol.

I dunno when that came out, but new Altan Urag video. The song is so different compared to their last album. I didn't like it when I first heard it, but it's really grown on me. Can't wait for the album!

I keep finding Cantonese singers. There's just something about Cantonese I do not enjoy, but most of what I come by lately is Cantonese. I like Kay Tse's Yelling album. Japanese music wise, I grabbed Miho Fukuhara's newest single and am loving it. A great summer release and a rock-y a-side :)

Rapey McRaper is back :/ He's a nice guy, I guess. Just kinda creepy now lol. The other day, there was this guy in about 19 or 20 who smelled like alcohol (at 11am) and then this girl came in and they started arguing, then they went outside and argued and came back in and argued. They finally went back outside and were really loud. After the guy left, the librarian went to check on the girl and apparently the guy threw a bottle at her and bit her O__O

My friends and I went to see Terminator Salvation Tuesday. Christian Bale was in the movie D: Ugh. He was a lot better in this than Batman Begins though. But, he sounds like an old man when he yells D: Either way, he looked pretty good. It was a really good movie; very action-packed, but I haven't seen any of the other ones lol.

Any of you guys watch Jon and Kate Plus 8? Man, the premiere was so intense. It was so sad when Alexis was talking to Jon during the party omg ;__; But I loled at Collin calling the piñata a 'chiñata'. The next episode looks funny.

Metric's new album is so. freaking. good. I can't stop listening to it. And it's not just good because their last album (excluding Grow Up and Blow Away) was garbage; it's really good. Satellite Mind is my favourite track.

Finished John Man's The Great Wall and really enjoyed it. The 'young Mao' part made me laugh, but it was a really interesting and enjoyable read. Now I'm on Haruki Murakami's Norwegian Wood. I'm a little annoyed, tbh. Like, I absolutely love the way he writes, and this novel's no different, but is he incapable of coming up with different characters? It's always this sort of laid back, yet somehow unhappy guy and the mysterious, quirky girl who has problems. ALWAYS D:

I started practicing writing hanzi characters. I love the ones with a lot of strokes. But, I can't help but think of how wrong it seems writing them. Like, when you have to draw a line from left to right, or in some, imo, illogical order.

MiChi's new single is very good. She hasn't disappointed me yet, but I think the a-side was a bit better on her second single.

I know there was something I actually wanted to talk about...

Ugh, two spider incidents at work. I went down the paperback aisle and noticed a spiderweb stretched across the aisle. I couldn't just leave it there, because I'd eventually have to go through and, well, I didn't want to go through. So I grabbed a book and threw it through the web hahaha. The librarians can't see down that aisle. Then, when I went to shelf read the picture books, just as I started going through them a fucking spider crawled out. I just upped and left.

I finally watched The Sixth Sense. I had never seen it before. I know it's somewhat dated now, but it wasn't scary at all :/ The thought of being schizophrenic and having hallucinations creeps me out though.

Music wise, I checked out Girls' Generation - ya know, the Korean girl group with like 400 10-ish members? It's so cheesy and girly and I love it. Sadly. I also pre-ordered the CD+DVD version of alan's first album. I still have to order MUCC's, but I might use Amazon for that.

In my last entry, I posted a video of Cold Fairyland. Here's the song: Dead Children in Newspapers. I think I'm only missing one of their albums now :) I really like them.

I hate people who make ugly graphics. I hate them even more when they post them around different communities. Keep that shit to yourself until you don't suck. My icons: not good, but passable I think, but notice how I don't spam them everywhere?

On the net episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 it looks like they get two German Shepherd puppies! I can't wait to see it.

And, I'm back to hating everything and being so confused about school. I wrote a disastrous midterm Thursday. One girl started crying after I had left my friend said. Not a good sign. I have my last one on Saturday for my stupid online writing course. We haven't even learned anything. What the hell am I being tested on!? And the textbooks are being sent back to the publishers Monday, so I was going to go get my German one (there was the huge mix up earlier) and lo and behold - the bookstore's closed until Monday.

My friend is going to Japan for school. He's just waiting on one more thing I think and then it's pretty much official. I'd like to go away, but then I worry about missing my parents too much :(

Yeah, apparently when my family was out Christmas shopping for me, my dad asked why I couldn't be interesting in normal stuff lol. Not sure what 'normal stuff' is, but I don't think my Genghis Khan obsession fits in with it.

Hope you guys all had a great Christmas :) Mine was pretty good. One of my gifts hasn't arrived yet (which worries me about what exactly my dad ordered lol), but hopefully it'll be here soon. Boxing day was pretty sucky, mainly because I don't like a lot of the people on my mom's side of the family. Isn't that terrible of me? :/
