It was so cold outside yesterday. We went to my aunt and uncle's and I sat outside with jeans, a sweater and goosebumps. We even had to put a heater on at one point lol. That is crazy for being August.

Anyways, they recently got back from a cruise that went to Denmark, Russia, Estonia, Poland and some Scandanavian places. They said it was amazing. They bought a beer mug from Poland for my grandpa (they're not really my aunt and uncle, just close friends of the family) and told my mom to tell him to go back because he'd be proud of what it's like there now. They bought a Matryoshka doll and a replica Fabergé egg from Russia. They were both so cool.

I decided to go back to uni again. I really couldn't afford to lose the medical coverage or risk not finding a second job. So, I have another two years of German to suffer through :( I have no idea how I'm going to make n between buildings in just 10mins though :/ That should be a challenge.

Cake Boss >>> Ace of Cakes. As much as I enjoy watching Ace of Cakes for Duff and the rest of them, the cakes the Cake Boss bakery makes are so much better, even if the people are all really obnoxious.

New layout! yourfuneralmama. I wasn't expecting for it to be dark, but I was tired of fiddling with the customization myself, so I just found one and used it. I'm not totally happy with it though. I may do some more tweaking. But I am happy with the way the header turned out.

I'm in exams now. I had my first one yesterday. I actually thought it was easy. I know I messed up one question, though. I couldn't remember what it was, so I made a guess, but the correct answer came to me at work D:

Let's see... Music wise:
-I like Fire's Aranshin album quite a bit. There's some great tracks on there, but there's definitely room for improvement. I think they should move away from the crappy ballads and even the pop-punk sound and focus more on their heavier side.
-I found a song by B. Misheel called "Wenn du mich von hinten fickst" Dirty lol
-I really like Kiwi's Boys Boys, especially with the video (except the audio doesn't sync with the mouth movements and the pics of the famous guys). [watch]
-I came across a Mongolian wanna-be-Korean girl group. Catchy, okay-ish song, but they lack the girly cuteness of, say, Girls' Generation. [watch]
-Kagrra's album's actually pretty good except for that one garbage song I can't recall.
-I love Jolin Tsai's new album. Hot Winter = ♥
-There is also something strangely addicting about Power Station's new album. 繼續轉動 is a great rock-y track.
-Ahhhh, wtf is this!? [watch] Apparently it's some German song they covered and changed some of the not-so-clean lyrics. I almost feel like a pedophile watching it hahaha. As terrible as it is, while I was studying on Sunday, all I could think of was "Jin, Jin, Jingisukan. Hey rider, ho rider, nice rider, go rider." Somehow I don't think Genghis Khan and choreographed dance moves should be in the same video lmao

Yanno... my room is like never clean. I do a full clean (vacuum, dusting, etc) once a week, but the next day it's back to how it was lol. It's not like I even do much in my room: sleep, occasionally watch TV, read, listen to my iPod, homework. I dunno :S

I finished James P. Delgado's Khubilai Khan's Lost Fleet last week. After two failed attempts at capturing Japan, you would think he wouldn't go back for a third, right? Oh, but he did D: Then after those 3 failed tries, he went to Vietnam, which failed. And then he tried to take Java. Guess what happened there? Reading about him kinda makes me sad. He did all this remarkable stuff and then fell apart at the end. In Jack Weatherford's Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World, he says that he was too fat to ride a horse. Now I'm reading John Man's The Great Wall. It's really good so far and très interesting.

My friend's in Japan now. I've talked to him twice since he's been there. He told me about crazy ladies on trains, expensive stores and forgetting his laptop bag in a cab with $2000 in it D: (He got it back though).

I watched The Dark Knight tonight. Yeah, Heath Ledger was pretty much the only good thing about the movie. And who the fuck thought it was alright for Batman to talk like that!? That was so annoying. Never mind he was a smug asshole a lot when he wasn't being Batman. Srsly D:

Last weekend when we were going over to the US, there was 2 cars infront of us before we were at the customs booth and then a bunch of officers (or whatever they are) ran out of their booths and from a building and took a guy away in handcuffs. Dun dun dun. I hate crossing the border as it is, so I was worried it would slow everything down, but they took him away and movied his pickup to search it quickly.

Metallica concert is on Tuesday. I'm not really all that excited for it, but it should be good. I'm also going to see Cancer Bats at the end of January. They're playing here in Windsor for pretty cheap, so it's good :)

Yes, I finished my last class this moring. I have my exams next week and then I'm off for two weeks :3 This semester was pretty terrible and the unfortunate thing is that it's not any better next semester. German being a double credit course completely sucked the fun out of it because of all the work I had to to. And what else is great, I want nothing to do with German career wise. Thanks, UofWindsor for offering so many great course/major options.

I've been listening to Nominjin a lot lately... I mean, the handful of YouTube-ripped mp3s I have. There's an English interview with her on YT and her English is perfect. I knew it was good based on what I've heard in songs, but I was shocked. Unfortunately, all her videos are pretty much God awful (like this one) lol, but the songs are good.

I taught myself the Cyrillic alphabet last weekend, but I'm not sure if I'm romanizing things properly. Is х 'kh' or just 'h'? I know it doesn't make a difference pronunciation wise. I also don't get ы - is that 'ii'? Is я 'ya' and ь 'i'? Those are the only one's I'm stuck on.

Is the new Super VC album actually out? If so, I would greatly enjoy acquiring that. Their previous album is fantastic, so I have high hopes for the new one :3

I want to travel, damnit. I'm looking into those guided tour things for China, but I have no one to go with and I wouldn't want to go alone D: I found this website with some really great ones and even lets you make your own :O How awesome would that be? *_* I could do everything I wanted all in one go.

I really love the Japanese version of Timbaland's The Way I Are. Shamefully, I love the original anyways, but the Japanese is cool in it.

My box of sex (aka Uroboros) came today 8D It's so freaking cool. Pictures really don't do it justice. The packing is really awesome. The booklet's hardcover lol. I watched the DVD tonight and I liked it, but, ya know, you can only like something so much when you don't understand it and it's mostly interviews. I want to listen to the LP's, but I'm worried about scratching them :/

Good Lord, what has happened to Ayumi Hamasaki? She's like in this pit of crappy music she can't pull herself out of. At this point, I'd rather her just stop before it goes any further lol. I can't stand her voice anymore, either. Sadly, she just can't compare to the likes of Kuu and such. But, she certainly had her time.

What else, what else. I can't decide what I want for Christmas. Like, there's a few things I want, but that doesn't give my parents many options. I'm not even sure what I would like ordered. I want S.H.E's FM S.H.E, but I could couple something with that for free shipping, but I can't make up my damn mind. I'm currently thinking of Angela Zhang's Flower in the Wonderland (CD+DVD+Photobook - it's only like $18!), but... or should I just ask for one Japanese album? Idk D:
