Wtf MUCC? I don't want your shitty compilations. They just put out two in 2007. The only thing I'd consider buying is the indie b-side disc, since I generally don't like their PVs. Ageha was cool, but that's it. And that world tour... If they go back to the US, you know it's only going to be NY and/or LA, because the rest of the country doesn't exist.

I watched Genghis Khan: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea again, finally. As such, I decided to revisit my previous thoughts on it and Mongol.

God, I'm such a nerd :P )

I dunno when that came out, but new Altan Urag video. The song is so different compared to their last album. I didn't like it when I first heard it, but it's really grown on me. Can't wait for the album!

I keep finding Cantonese singers. There's just something about Cantonese I do not enjoy, but most of what I come by lately is Cantonese. I like Kay Tse's Yelling album. Japanese music wise, I grabbed Miho Fukuhara's newest single and am loving it. A great summer release and a rock-y a-side :)

Rapey McRaper is back :/ He's a nice guy, I guess. Just kinda creepy now lol. The other day, there was this guy in about 19 or 20 who smelled like alcohol (at 11am) and then this girl came in and they started arguing, then they went outside and argued and came back in and argued. They finally went back outside and were really loud. After the guy left, the librarian went to check on the girl and apparently the guy threw a bottle at her and bit her O__O

Yeah, apparently when my family was out Christmas shopping for me, my dad asked why I couldn't be interesting in normal stuff lol. Not sure what 'normal stuff' is, but I don't think my Genghis Khan obsession fits in with it.

Hope you guys all had a great Christmas :) Mine was pretty good. One of my gifts hasn't arrived yet (which worries me about what exactly my dad ordered lol), but hopefully it'll be here soon. Boxing day was pretty sucky, mainly because I don't like a lot of the people on my mom's side of the family. Isn't that terrible of me? :/

I'm working on my Best of 2008 list 8D I love doing those.

Now I'm going to bore all of you with my ranting about Genghis Khan: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea, which I got for Christmas. And I shall pit it against Mongol harhar!

We got so much snow at the end of last week. On Thursday when my mom went to take me to work, we got stuck in our driveway because the snow was higher than the bottom of our van.

My last exam, which was on Saturday, was pretty lame. Bascially, we read 4 pieces of literature and our professor pulls 2 passages from each and we have to indentify the title, author, genre and write about the context and historical importance - it's the same for all our tests in that class. The last question was from Faustus and I hated reading that. We only had to read the first part, but it was like 4000 lines long and I didn't understand it. It reminded me of reading Shakespeare D: So, I just bullshit that one :/ One of the other pieces was Kafka's The Metamorphosis. I really liked that one, but it made me really sad. I felt bad for Gregor.

I found Super VC's new album last night. It's good, as I was expecting, but I like A Gift From Super VC more. I grabbed quite a bit of music today. I'm listening to Kary Ng right now. There's some good rock tracks, but her ballads are boring. I still have Y2J, Denise Ho and Altan Urag to go through.

I have one more chapter left in Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World. Once I start reading it, I can't put it down. The book does a really good job of covering all aspects of his life and goes well into after his death. Some of the reviews on Amazon said how it reads like a novel and I really think that's true. Sometimes in non-fiction books the way the information is presented makes it hard to get through, but this does seem much more like reading good fiction :)

Wow, this was really boring. I originally thought I might have something interesting to say. Guess not.

I wrote my third and last midterm on Wednesday. It was incredibly easy. Out of 50 questions, I maybe guessed 15. Even those guesses weren't like 'omg I have noooo idea D: D:' they made sense lol. It took me about half an hour to write, but I checked it over a bunch of times just to make sure. I have a German test next week and then no more studying. Yay!

I've been practicing driving and I started driving on the road, but I'm not all that great at turning yet, so I do it really slow. As I was doing so yesterday, some guy passed me lol. I'm really not enjoying it :/

I really want to travel D: I'd almost certainly have to go by myself, which scares me a bit, tbh. If I were to go, I wonder if it's better to do it while I'm still going to school (as in, enrolled there, but during the summer - not actually in school) or after I graduate (which, if I stick with my program, is in 2011)? My choices would be Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai or Hohhot. Tokyo's significantly more expensive than the other three and that's not even taking into account buying stuff in the country D: Beijing's a little bit more than Shanghai and Hohhot is by far the cheapest. I've really been looking into Hohhot, but there's barely any damn information D:

I dunno what I think about Uroboros :/ Kyo's vocals are more irritating and weird than anything. Toguro, Bugaboo, Dozing Green and Gaika are cool, but the rest hasn't really done it for me yet.

Mongol completely sparked my interest in Genghis Khan. He's so awesome and bad ass n' stuff ♥ My favourite part of his Wikipedia page is the idea by some that he died after pliars in some captured princess' vagina hurt him, leading to his death. LOL!

I'm getting my hair cut and looking for glasses tomorrow. I'm long overdue for both. My right eye is soo bad.

Toinight at work, the computers were down so it was empty. There was literally 7 things for me to put away D: So, I had to shift all of the young adult fiction and graphic novels and clean the shelves. Not a big job in itself, but at first I didn't shift enough, so I had to re-shift everything. And then I shifted too much. Nothing ever goes well for me.

omg. Akurei needs to STFU. I can't stand her D:
